As a Christian who has had his life changed by grace, I feel it is my duty to share that experience from time to time.
I have never tried to force it on anyone, and I don’t judge how other people live or what will become of you.
I love you if you share my beliefs or do not. I don’t have the authority, nor the inclination, to declare your sins or pronounce them greater than my own.
I only have my heart and my life and my words and my story that I believe I’m called to show and share. The bad, the ugly, and the good.
People ask me a lot about hell and how a loving God can do this or that, and my answer is simple: I don’t know anything about it. I didn’t become a Christian because I’m afraid of hell. I became a Christian because it seemed like I was living in a hell I had condemned myself to.
And I think that’s the whole point.
I believe God is love, and we are all invited to accept and reciprocate that love. If someone rejects that invitation, a just and loving God would not force it upon them. A person chooses separation from God when they reject that invitation, and He allows them to make that choice.
Because I love my father, and because he is my father, you are my brother or sister. I hope you will accept that invitation. If you do not, I will still love you and just continue to pray that you change your mind.
