America Does Not Need Another Political Party

It Needs Fewer Politicians

For years, there has been an outcry for the inclusion of more political parties on the national stage, but the fire has never been hotter than it is right now, due to Tucker Carlson hinting that he may start a new party.

I like Tucker Carlson. I agree with him like 3/4 of the time, which is a lot, really.

And I generally like the sort of people who want to expand the debate stage. After all, it has been a Libertarian Party calling card for many years now.

But, I mean, really?

Eh…

What’s the point?

Other countries have a lot of parties?

Yeah, and most of those countries have even more draconian laws than the United States does. They’re arresting people for social media posts, for Pete’s sake.

If you want to see what a clown show this can be, watch a lot of the Libertarian presidential candidate debates.

It’s wholly unserious.

Society has a lot of serious issues, but they can only be solved by people talking to each other—not another group of power-seekers talking at us.

It’s time to leave that game behind, not expand it.

We don’t need more political choice or greater access to a larger pool of candidates.

We need fewer (no) politicians.
