I built this farm from timberland by hand, chose hardy Southern cattle genetics, and refused shortcuts that would make the meat just like everybody else’s. This is why Black Market Cattle Company grew from a farm into a way to support independent media, conversation-starting merchandise, and the work of building outside centralized systems.
